Mark Espinoza, senior director of public affairs at Walmart, recently offered some tips to suppliers interested in pitching their products at Walmart’s Open Call event:

“Espinoza said to fill the application out completely and to pay special attention to supplier requirements inside the application. According to him, a lot of past applicants did not fill out the application completely; sharing everything from their capacity, to their name or even where the products were made or assembled. Filling out the application completely increases the application’s chances of going to the top.“
