We are looking for a Sr. Sales Analyst who is passionate about helping our customers succeed.

If you are experienced and passionate about utilizing and leveraging data to drive robust decision making, you may be the person we need to join our team as a Senior Sales Analyst. 8th and Walton is ready to add to our team to grow our business and deliver to our clients the robust data insights and solutions they need.

The person chosen for this role will work with a variety of clients and take leadership of meeting their data needs while also taking our 8th and Walton reporting processes to the next level.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting 10-20 clients who are Walmart suppliers
  • Providing weekly and adhoc reporting with sales insights and recommendations
  • Automating data reporting processes to drive efficiency
  • Working with our clients and technology providers to create and design custom reports to meet client needs
  • Performing monthly data deep dives for clients
  • Presenting data, insights, and recommendations to clients
  • Utilizing data visualization to tell the story in a meaningful and understandable way
  • Providing additional retail context at the category, retailer, and industry levels to supplement insights and broaden the clients understanding of key sales drivers and risks to the business.

    • Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience working at Walmart or at a Walmart vendor
  • Robust knowledge of and experience utilizing Retail Link
  • Intermediate to expert level skills utilizing Excel or Google Sheets (LOOKUP functions, DATE functions, TEXT functions, pivot tables, MATH functions, data validation, etc.)
  • Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization software tools
  • Analytical skills with experience in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy and timeliness
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Strong ability to build data visualizations into storytelling
  • Strong ability to proactively and creatively problem solve as an individual and with a team
  • Radical curiosity of retail and the constantly changing marketplace
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to influence
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
