Consumer loyalty to brands may well be affected by experiences offered by retail stores:

“25.1% of respondents told us they alternate retail brands more often today than they have in the past. Brand disloyalty did not start with Covid-19, though. Per Forbes, three-quarters of the more than 30,000 consumers in a 2019 survey thought nothing of switching to a retail brand that offered better customer service.”
