Introduction to Access 2003 for Retail Link® Users

Overview

The Introduction to Access for Retail Link® Users course focuses on effectively tracking, reporting, and sharing information.  Manipulate information in a way that helps you make sense of the data for informed decision-making. The tools used will help you draft information to Microsoft Excel to further analyze and examine the data.

In this course, you will learn:

  • Designing a database
  • Identifying tables and establishing relationships
  • Importing data
  • Creating and modifying a table by pulling the field from Retail Link
  • Working with subdatasheets
  • Updating, sorting and filtering records
  • Creating simple queries
  • Formulas and functions
  • Action queries
  • Creating simple forms
  • Creating simple reports
